So here’s a few from one of my weekend sessions. Austin has been burning up the tracks this year, so what better way to show some of his true colors than to hit the BMX track for some shots. He had a lot of energy to burn so that made for some great action shots!

Had a busy day on Sunday, but was great to be out in the glorious sunshine! This young lady just had the big birthday 1.0 not too long ago, so mom and dad thought it’d be a good idea to get out and get some pics before little miss Kyrrah is running the household….more than she probably is already! Gotta love some of these expressions! Oh..if only we could get some idea of what goes on in their little noggins at this age….
This expression kills me!! What a look of horror…of a leaf!
This is ambition…. Kyrrah saw me standing on the stone wall to get an angle, and she felt she needed to be up there too…
And this folks is how you know when your shoot is over!

Was playing around with some remote strobes the other evening with Liam on the trampoline. He was having a blast…as you can see. Did a little sandwiching with the lights using the wireless triggers…very handy. I’ve got some other ideas along this line bouncing around inside the noggin…need to operationalize those sometime soon.

If you check in the childrens gallery, you’ll find a similar shot of Liam in soccer gear that I like to call his game face. With his newfound love for lacrosse, I figured I’d try a similar thing with the lacrosse gear. There’s a new bridge near my place where they’ve recently put up some nice new shiny chainlink fence guards on the pedestrian section. Thought that’d make a nice little reflector for some gel’d backlight…
